Totem poles

While in alaska we went to a totem pole park. I was amazed at the building the the beauty of the nature that surrounded me. I really fell in love with the small cabins that lied on the grounds. The roof tops were covered in moss which looks beautiful but it is bad for the roof.

we adopted a new kitten.
her name is Tonks named after Nymphadora Tonks from Harry Potter.

Hot Air!

For Nasai's 6th birthday we ventured off to San Diego's Wild Animal Park, Which is in Escondido not San Diego. It is a lovely park that shows a lot of respect to the animals(most are there in captivation because they have been injured, and have been unable to return to a natural environment, or have been born into it). One thing we did notice is this yellow balloon the floats above the park.

for some reason i love to photograph things that have shown a lot of age, whether it be an abandoned building or death it self. It shows existence, things that have been to use and proof that not all things last for ever.

3 car collision

3 car collision on the 134 fwy. I was driving on in the carpool lane when another car lost control. This might be the end of my car.....

Los angeles Metro

this past weekend we celebrated a birthday by hopping on and off the Los Angeles metro system, minus the buses..Officially we started off from Pasadena and ended in the Arts District right outside Little Tokyo.. It was a fun night, and everyone stated they had a good time.. Luckily no one got to drunk.. Waiting for a train is a great way to take a break between bars(and to stay sober)

Grand Canyon a natural wonder of the world...

and believe me, i believe it is so... I was astound at the beauty of the Grand Canyon. It was like Hollywood came in and placed a back drop...Yes we are planning a trip back..

BioSphere 2

While in Az we visited Biosphere 2. It was an amazing thing to look at, but it was a bit sad to see it dying.

Happy New Year.

Just before the New Year Chris and I took a small road trip through the Southwest.. We started off in Tucson which is a great party town. Our second day in the Tucson area we drove off to Tombstone. With advice from a local Tucsonian we went to a small town called Bisbee 20mins south of Tombstone.I fell in love with Bisbee. It was small and quaint.
